Magnetic Drive and Food Safe!
With its tough impeller housing made from polysulfone food-grade plastic, the pump is rated up to 120C.
The magnetic drive acts as a clutch allowing the user to put back pressure on the pump to slow down flow without any damage to the pump.
Since it is centrifugal, it's not self priming, you must put the pump under the level of the liquid source.
Tackle NPSH Cavitation at the Pump Head
With the NEW pump head drain vent, simply pull the pressure relief valve to purge cavitation/air bubbles from your pump's tubing that might occur from NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head) at the intake side of the pump.
WortMaster is an extremely efficient 0.1amp pump which can be run continuously at elevated temperatures.</p>The magnetic drive ensures no lubricated bearings are in contact with the liquid at all, so you can be sure there is no chance of any contamination of the liquid being pumped, which is why this pump is ideal for home brewing.
Mount it or Leave Free Standing
Mount the pump in your brewery system racking, CIP cart or leave it free standing with the integrated pump mount that includes a power switch.
