DESCRIPTION
Connect grade 80 chain with your hammer lock. Shackle your trailer to your 4WD. Keep everything compliant, safe and secure. Always test your hammer lock is properly connected.
Attach two chain links together. Place your hammerlock over the chain the hammer the pin through the middle. If it won’t fit, then grind the sides a tiny amount. Too easy.
It is a lump of powder-coated steel. Your hammerlock isn’t complicated. As long as you aren’t storing it in salt water, you will keep it for many years to come. Just don’t lose the pin.
Your hammerlock is rated to 5.3 tonnes. Stay safe and keep under that weight limit. You get two hammer locks to make sure you always have enough.
Get yourself a hammerlock instead of welding some chains together. They are going to be more mechanically sound compared to a weld too. Perfect for attaching a rated safety chain to a trailer drawbar.
